Zucchini "Iskander f1" ("Eskanderany F1") is a relatively new variety from Dutch breeders. It is a super-early and extremely productive hybrid form. The hybrid is perfectly adapted to the soil and climatic features of our country.
The description given by the originator allows us to recommend this hybrid form for cultivation on ridges of open ground and using temporary film shelters in order to obtain super-early vegetable products. Fruiting is observed until the first frost.
Description and varietal characteristics
Zucchini of the hybrid form "Iskander f1" forms compact plants of the bush of the straight-growing type. Leaves are closer to large, from light green to dark green, with average dissection and pronounced spotting. The main advantage of the hybrid is early ripeness and the ability to tie fruits in low temperature conditions. The period from seedlings to full technical maturity of the fruit is about 40-45 days.
Fruits are cylindrical or club-shaped, light green, covered with a very thin, waxy, with light specks and veined skin. The average length of the fetus does not exceed 18-20 cm. Commercial mass varies from 500 to 650 g. Taste and commercial qualities are excellent. The pulp is creamy white, very delicate and tasty.
The Dutch hybrid is characterized by a fairly high resistance to powdery mildew and anthracnose, which reduces the need for chemical treatment. Seeds are elliptical in shape, whitish, medium in size. The maximum yield of marketable fruits exceeds 910 kg / ha, which is almost two times higher than the standard harvest volume of the vegetable marrow of the Gribovsky 37 variety.

Zucchini "Iskander f1" can be grown as a direct planting of seeds in the ground, and seedlings.
